2 Days Cerval cat safari

Safari Overview:  2 Days Tarangire & Ngorongoro Tanzania Safari

2 Days Tarangire & Ngorongoro Tanzania safari is a package designed to offer visitors a short but great Tanzania Northern circuit wildlife experience. A two-day and one-night tour offers a visit to two of the great wildlife parks in Tanzania which are Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater conservation area.

Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Conservation Area

These two national parks are part of Tanzania’s most preferred parks where you will have a chance to see the Big Five, the cerval cat and many more animals. This tour offers such a memorable experience for travellers who want to just enjoy the beauty of the world’s largest land mammals and also take breath taking photos in the world’s largest and unfilled crater.

Tarangire National Park is home to the largest elephant population in Tanzania. The dry season is the best time for game drives in the park because this is when the animals of the park cluster together and closer at the Tarangire River. With wildlife in one spot, this offers a great opportunity to see plenty of animals and to witness the predator-prey relationship in action.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to several rhinoceros, hippopotamus, buffaloes, and many more. Here you enjoy the views of the verdant caldera as well as have a picnic lunch by the hippo pool which offers a very unique treat as you have a meal within a wildlife habitat.

Day 1: Arusha> Tarangire

have a game drive, lunch, and spend the night at preferred accommodation.

Early morning, your safari guide will pick you up for a transfer to Tarangire National Park after your breakfast at the hotel or place of residence, a drive that takes about 2 hours.  Enjoy the changing landscape as Arusha’s urban jungle is replaced by wide open plains and quaint Masai villages.

On arrival at the park, check-in and drive through the gigantic Baobab at the entrance, see the mischievous monkeys darting about in the shade. Continue inside the park to the Tarangire River that is lined with acacia and Baobab where wildlife cluster all day long. With the river being a collective point for most of the wildlife from the Masai steppe, this is a good point to see lots of wildlife in a short period of time. Some of the animals that can be spotted here include the Greater kudu, Fringe-Eared Oryx, and the Ashy Starling.

Have a picnic lunch with a view of the Tarangire River, but be watchful of your food as the monkeys will roam around. Have an evening game drive for an opportunity to see more wildlife through the park and luckily spot endangered animals like the Greater Kudu and the Fringe eared fox. In the evening, retire to a booked lodging facility of your choice within the park.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater> Arusha.

After breakfast at the hotel/lodge in Tarangire, you will depart for Ngorongoro crater. You will have a game drive for an opportunity to spot several wildlife species including Africa’s popular Big Five game which are Buffaloes, Rhinos, Lions, Leopards, and Elephants. The game drive lasts several hours as you enjoy the spectacular views of the world’s largest unfilled caldera.

After the game drive, have lunch at the famous hippo pool with great views of the world’s eighth wonder. After picnic lunch, you will then transfer back to Arusha.
